California Coffee Company

Jó napot!

I am finishing my breakfast at the California Coffee Company across from St Stephens Basilica (it was literally the only place open, dont judge me.)

They had lime juice at the condements counter. Interesting! Also there is an adorable dog with the couple outside.

Later today we are going to a farmers market nearby, then we're heading to the Jewish quarter, which is supposed to be full of unique, local shops and night life. The jewish quarter, according to our tour guide from yesterday, was the second largest ghetto created by WWII, but now has become a thriving cultural center. Im very excited to see it! What we do afterwards depends on how much time we spend there, but we might be doing a pub tour or going to one of the famous baths (Buda comes from the word for water, because the Danube is on a fault, which allows the Buda side of Budapest to be rich in hot springs.) Andrea is getting interested in a cave tour and our hostel desk attendant was giving us some advice on it, so we might be doing that later this week. There is so much to see and so little time! But I think we have a good amount of time here, we will be able to hit everything we feel is really essential, and have had some time to wander around as well. The rest will have to wait for next time! I would love to come here again.

Now the people with the cute dog are leaving, so I think thats my cue to go. I'll leave you with this picture. Szia!
